DPD wanted to send a packet of pumpkin seeds to all employees so they could grow their own Halloween pumpkins in time for October 2021! The seeds were sent out to DPD staff in May so they could start sowing them in time for the DPD Spooktacular competition in October. The competition winners can look forward to prizes for the biggest pumpkin, the pumpkin with the most unique shape and the best carved pumpkin!
This campaign had a few core elements to tie up into a seamless campaign, so as soon as the brief was in we broke the project down into its core elements; sourcing the seeds and printing the seed packets, followed by the printing of the planting instruction flyers, before then compiling these into envelopes and labelling each envelope to complete the fulfilment and delivery of each seed pack to all recipients.
We completed the project on time and in budget, ready for each recipient to receive a pack in preparation for planting before the end of May. We then printed the packets and the instructions, enclosed them into envelopes individually and packed them up into set quantities by each depot. There were still nearly 2000 employees working from home, so we laser printed the envelopes with their details and posted on a first class service to ensure everyone received their packs on the same day.
