We’d like to give you a snapshot of who does what here at Birch HQ. First up is Becky, our lovely Account Executive.
Becky, what are your responsibilities?
My responsibilities are to process ad-hoc requests from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring we meet deadlines, budgets and quality standards. I’m also responsible for the process management of Hexicom, our internal system. I need to ensure the processes in place are relevant and streamlined, along with answering general queries related to the system.
What are the benefits and challenges of the role?
Time management is always a challenge when juggling multiple tasks at once but dealing with so many different requests can also be a benefit as it keeps everyday different.
What processes are you in charge of?
I’m in charge of our Hexicom processes. I work out a process for a certain task and roll this out to the whole team so we’re all working in the same way which brings consistency to the business.
What does your average day look like?
My average day consists of sending enquiries, sending quotations, checking artwork, placing orders, chasing suppliers for lead times, answering phone calls and dealing with general Hexicom queries or issues.
Finally, if you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?
I’d probably be an Interior Designer…or a lady of luxury with loads of dogs.
